New case
Main photos
Main photo 1 is required before publishing. Photos 2 and 3 are optional.
Clear photos help people recognise the pet. JPEG, PNG and WebP are supported; choose the framing before saving. New and adjusted photos are saved as matching 1200 × 1200 squares. Use Fit whole photo to keep the full pet visible. These main photos are retained when the case closes.
Public website
Cases stay private until you publish them. Publishing shares the pet’s details, saved main photos, contact names and numbers, group links, reported locations and approved sightings. Only the last five microchip digits are shown.
After publication, saved changes to this case, its photos, status and approved sightings update the public page automatically.
Published cases stay visible after Found, Deceased or Closed until you remove them from the public website.

Sightings
Add a reported location with a photo or video, then review it before adding it to the approved timeline. Pending and rejected sightings stay private. Approved sightings appear publicly only while the case is published.

Telegram case group
Add @sglostpet_bot to this group as an admin so /list commands reach it. It will post case status changes and new approved sightings. Type /list in the group for the confirmed timeline. Each group can be linked to one case.
Case status
Keep the case accurate for everyone helping with the search.
Case administrators
Invite someone using their Telegram username or phone number. They do not need to sign in to this portal first. Access applies only to this case and lasts until you remove it.
They open the bot and press Start while signed in to this Telegram username.
Starting the bot connects only a matching invitation. Adding a case contact does not give them management access.
